詩意

剛完成一篇網誌，正準備發表時，意外收到一封來自相片儲存平台 Flickr 的電郵。寄件人是一位我不認識的外籍朋友，他附上一首洋溢春日氣息的英文詩。在此先與大家分享這份突如其來的溫柔。


Subject: A poem 4 u Mabel
Date: 3rd April, 2010

Split by happenstance or fate…
Lotus, springtide, can not wait…
Each petal, from dark mud, anew…
Barely laden, with cool night’s dew…
Amber moons wax, anon bright full…
Memories’ plaint; uncertain pull…

Gyre

我笨拙地嘗試翻譯，以為很易，誰知中文要顧及押韻原來很難。

分散，受偶然或命運
蓮花，初春，不能等
每片花瓣，從暗土，重新
勉強負載，隨涼夜露水浸
琥珀色月盈，將皎潔豐實
慨嘆回憶，不確定的牽引

本不想作回應免人家誤會，可是覺得對方很有誠意，所以也特地回郵向他道謝，怎知他回覆說舊照片中的我可愛：

"It was a small thing compared to the quality of your photostream. Even out of focus, your are lovely!"
